Black Owl is a trio based out of Milwaukee with Jesse Catalino Montijo on alto sax, Ben Hans on drums and Steve Peplin on guitar. Steeped in the American musical tradition, Black Owl draws from deep wells of musical experience from delta blues, hard bop, funk, East Indian Classical music, African music and other genres.
